CRESCENT Edge Laminate Countertop Trim

Give your kitchen a polished, timeless look with our custom-made CRESCENT edge laminate countertop trim. Featuring a soft, flowing curve similar to a bullnose granite edge, the CRESCENT profile blends seamlessly into virtually any kitchen design. Available in any laminate brand, including Wilsonart, Formica, Pionite, or Nevamar. You can match your exact style.

Materials & Construction

• Substrate: MR-50 moisture-resistant MDF (medium density fiberboard)
• Face: High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) glued and pressed with high-strength adhesive
• Ends: Both ends finished with a clean 90-degree cut
• VOC & waterproofing: All materials are no- or low-VOC; all surface and seam materials are waterproof

Sizing & Profile

• Dimensions: 12 ft long × 7/16 in thick × 1 9/16 in high
• Face profile: Soft bullnose-style curve with a flat back (FB) mounting surface
• Shipping note: For shipping, 12-ft lengths are cut into one piece at 94¾ in plus a 47-in off-fall. Ships in 8-ft tubes .

Installation

The CRESCENT edge can be installed by anyone with solid carpentry skills, no specialty tools required.

• Cutting: Use a miter saw (and optionally a disk sander) to cut to length and miter corners. Standard blades work fine on MDF and laminate.
• Adhesive: Attach with masking tape and a waterproof wood glue such as Titebond® III. Wipe away squeeze-out with a damp rag.
• Finishing: For an extra shine, apply PROTECTALL™ Shine Plus, great for both the edge and the countertop surface.

Warranty

Gem State Edging warrants the CRESCENT laminate countertop edge to the original owner for 10 years against manufacturing defects when installed professionally. The warranty covers replacement of the product only and does not extend to labor, re-installation costs, or damage caused by excessive heat, physical or chemical abuse, or acts of nature.

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to edges (1) installed by a professional, (2) purchased for use in the US and its territories, Canada, or Mexico, (3) not moved from their original installation location, and (4) that fail solely due to a manufacturing defect. Gem State Edging is not liable for glue-line failures not produced at the time of manufacture, nor for any direct, consequential, or incidental damages.
